The Aaron J. Meyer Foundation supports students in recovery who want to pursue a college
or technical degree in Madison, WI. The Foundation has owned and managed a residential house
for men since 2007, and recently purchased a house for women. This residential housing provides
young men and women with a supportive environment where peers in recovery, led by a House
Mentor and a Director of Services, live as a community. More than two dozen student residents have
called Aaron’s House home, and their parents and family members continue to call Aaron’s House
an answer to their prayers. With the purchase of a house for women, the Aaron J. Meyer Foundation
looks to the future, intending to not only to be an integral part, but a driving force for a larger
Collegiate Recovery Community in Madison.

Changing the Game will bring individuals and corporations
together to find inspiration from Chris Herren, a former McDonald’s
All American and NBA player for the Denver Nuggets and Boston
Celtics plagued by years of drug and alcohol abuse. After
completing intensive rehabilitation programs, he started The Herren
Project, which provides assistance in taking the first steps toward
recovery. Herren has been the subject of books and an ESPN
documentary, and now travels the United States sharing his story
about his drug abuse and how he is overcoming it.
